The playhouse is here! May 20, 2006
Posted by spacemom in : Kids , 2 commentsEarly this morning, my friend Lynn and I drove to get the playhouse. The guy who was selling it was pretty, well, dumb. He didn’t understand why Lynn and I wanted to break down the playhouse. We finally convinced him that we needed to break it down to fit it in her truck (we had premeasured and reviewed the product dimensions, and have decided to do it this way. Lynn is a PhD in Astrophysics, she gets it.) We had to argue with him as to how to load the truck. Then he didn’t understand why we wanted to tie it down (I brought some awesome ratcheting tie downs). I swear, MEN!
I spent about 2 hours scrubing the peices down. Then Dr. Jay and I got it together…
And here are the photos! The girls loved it! I can’t wait until the fall when we take it apart and repaint it with the krylon plastic spray paint!
