Stop me if you’ve heard this before! November 1, 2006

Boy, is life crazy…
I come to you today with a yummy set of candy in our house. Holy Cats did the kids score or WHAT?
There were people giving out, and I am serious here, FULL SIZED candy bars. We have 8!! EIGHT PEOPLE! This is way too much candy, so the full sizers were confiscated under the guise of being too big to eat.. He He he…

When I reminded my boss that I was leaving town on Sunday and that I might take a half day on Friday to get the kids, he said  (and I quote) " Oh crap! Well, we’ll have to squeeze as much work out of you as we can before Friday!" When I pointed out my poster was not done yet, he was not worried. Ha! Easy for him to say.

At my 3 pm meeting today, I was given a task to complete before I leave. I did it during TV time. I felt terrible because this means Jay did bath AND TV time. Poor guy. But I got the task done and my other boss (yes, I have two) read the email I sent out and already has started actions on it. Whew. Glad I did it tonight not tomorrow. We saved some serious time here.

Why did I add depression in the category? I am still evaluating cymbalta. It is doing well for my depression, although my sad days hit me still out of the blue. The anxiety? Not so well. I had a discussion with Jay about his career and moving (as in maybe I don’t want to move, unless it was Boulder) and he said something to the effect that his career is in a state of flux (which it is) and I went into a Full Blown Panic Attack. Scary. I told him I was doing it. We both knew, but we couldn’t stop it…
Go figure…

Sigh
to Quote Sandra Boyton "We’re very very busy and we have so much to do that we haven’t got the time to explain it all to you!"
