Mac Developers Toolkit–update June 9, 2007
Posted by spacemom in : She Blinded me with Science , trackbackOkay folks, I am a geek. Can anyone help me? (D- I’m talking to YOU!)
I am having trouble installing the Mac Developer’s Toolkit. I can download the binary, but then what? The About file assumes you have a CD. (unless I am a complete moron and can’t find this on the disk)
Help?
Update- I am a complete moron. I was on the disks that came with my mac. Duh. More on this later!

Hey. Post a link. I google Mac Developer’s Toolkit and get lots of hits, but nothing that’s directly called the Mac Developer’s Toolkit.
What you downloaded is most likely the .DMG file. Double click on it - it should verify the file and mount it as a filesystem. Which gives you the same situation as if you had inserted a CD/DVD.
If that doesn’t do it, explain some more
Make SURE that you install the latest version (2.4.1) - unless your computer is quite new that might not be on the DVDs that came with it.
