Damn, I am tired June 27, 2007

Anyone with me? This summer is way over booked and between work, the kids and just living, I don’t know when I am going to be free!

I’ll have to get lunch soon, as I have meetings from 2-5 and then the BBQ at work. Luna has her 3 year checkup and Jay will take her.

inexplicably, I lost my measuring tape. Weird. Luckily, I found the backup one so maybe tonight I can start measuring for the PJs I want to make. I am nervous that I will screw them up some how. Not sure How I could do it, but it is a little weird making clothes for someone else. But the fabric is so cute! I am going to have to measure everything to see if I can make both the pants and the shirt. I might have to do short sleeves instead of long. That’s the part that I worry about.

I haven’t even explained the work we are having done on the house this summer! Ha! Busy!

I’m with ya sister! I’m so damn tired…..I actually hoped my allergies would act up the other day so I could go home from work early. I’m so tired that I slept thru a monsterous thunder storm last night. However, this morning, I have my iced mocha….and for now, I’m happy.

I plan on getting my sewing machine out soon and making a baby quilt. Granted I need my mom to cut the squares b/c I can’t make a straight cut to save my life…even with a rotary cutter and mat!

And talk about work going on around the house….the backyard it being worked on, the bathroom…well, we won’t go there…..there’s always something isn’t there. I’d love to hear what you have going on at home!

Welcome to Summer vacation with the kids!! Every year I dreaded this time because while they are in school 10 months of the year, the two months my girls are off, I really go crazy trying to keep them busy. Guess what I did this year, I actually have them in science camps every other week. This is working really cool for me.

Hopefully you can take a break soon and really enjoy Summer (I read the Northeast is in for some “HOT” weather). Sorry.
