I often write about things that annoy the hell out of me. It makes me feel better. It is the Internet equivalent of Edvard Munch’s Scream.

So here are some little things that made me smile and warmed my soul lately:

• Luna waking me up at 4:45am so she could have company while she got up to pee in the potty instead of using her pull-up.
• Soleil snuggling up to me while watching the fireworks at New Year’s Eve.
• Jay’s breath on my neck at night
•  The sunshine on the snow
• The ultimate quiet of snow falling.
• Watching the fire in our fireplace and enjoying the dance of the flames.
• A packet of thank you drawings from a class that I donated money towards a project for them.
