I am getting ready to schedule my eye doctor appointment. I am planning to ask about LASIK.

So, dear Internets, Help me out here. Any assvice? Should I do this? What is the recovery time? Should I just stick with contacts and glasses for the rest of my life?

 What are the risks? Is the surgery itself long or painful or just plain freaky?
